How this Adopt Me values calculator works
The calculator uses a point-based model to estimate trade value. Each pet has a base score. When you apply traits like Neon, Mega, Fly, and Ride, the score gets multiplied. This gives you a fast way to compare your side and the other trader's side before you click accept.
It is intentionally simple: fast decisions are better than perfect spreadsheets when you are in a live trade lobby. Use this tool to get direction, not a final verdict.
What the value score means
- Higher total score = stronger side of the trade (on paper).
- Fair range = roughly within ±5% difference between both offers.
- Overpay warning = your side is significantly above the other side.
- Under warning = your side is significantly below the other side.
Step-by-step: using the calculator before a trade
1) Add your items first
Pick a pet, set quantity, select traits (Neon, Mega, Fly, Ride), then click Add to My Offer. Repeat until your side matches what you plan to offer.
2) Add the other trader’s items
Build their side the same way with Add to Their Offer. Make sure quantities and traits are exact. A single Mega vs Neon mistake can heavily skew results.
3) Check fairness and adjust
Read the result box. If you are overpaying, remove one of your adds or ask for a small extra. If you are under, add a low-value pet or potion to close the gap.
Best practices for safer Adopt Me trades
- Never rush because someone says “quick accept.”
- Double-check pet names and rarity before confirming.
- Watch for last-second swaps in the trade window.
- Avoid trading when values are unstable after major updates.
- Use demand and rarity together, not just one metric.
Popular pets included in this calculator
This page includes many commonly traded pets across legendary, ultra-rare, rare, uncommon, and common tiers, such as Shadow Dragon, Bat Dragon, Frost Dragon, Owl, Evil Unicorn, Parrot, Arctic Reindeer, Turtle, Kangaroo, Cow, and more. You can use these as anchors when negotiating mixed offers.
Limitations you should know
No calculator can perfectly model the Adopt Me market. Seasonal events, influencer trends, and server-specific demand can swing values quickly. Treat this tool as a decision assistant. Always combine the score with your own market sense.
Final thoughts
A good trade is not just about “winning points.” It is about improving your inventory flexibility, demand strength, and long-term progression. Use the calculator to avoid emotional decisions, stay consistent, and make cleaner deals over time.
