Aion Gear Power Calculator

Plan upgrades for PvE and PvP with a quick estimate of final attack, defense, enchant cost, and time-to-kill.

Note: values are planning estimates, not official server-side formulas.

What This Aion Gear Calculator Does

This tool helps you estimate how strong your current gear setup is before you spend precious kinah, enchant stones, and manastones. You enter your base stats and build choices, and the calculator returns: final attack, final defense, projected DPS against a target, expected time-to-kill, and a practical gear score.

It is designed for players who want faster decision-making. Instead of guessing whether +2 enhancement or a socketing swap gives more value, you can compare outcomes immediately and build toward your PvE or PvP goal.

How the Formula Works

1) Core Stat Scaling

Base attack and defense are scaled by gear grade first, then by enhancement, then by set completion bonus. This mirrors the real in-game progression logic where item quality and enchant level are the biggest multipliers.

2) Socketing Contribution

Manastones are split by build focus:

  • Offensive: heavier attack conversion, smaller defensive gain.
  • Balanced: moderate bonus to both attack and defense.
  • Defensive: heavier defense conversion, smaller attack gain.

3) Combat Estimate

Estimated hit value uses your effective attack (including PvP bonus) minus a mitigation factor from enemy defense. That hit value is multiplied by attacks-per-second to estimate DPS. With target HP, you get an approximate time-to-kill.

4) Enchant Planning

The calculator also estimates expected enchant stones required to reach your entered enhancement level. This gives you a rough kinah budget so you can plan farming or marketplace purchases more efficiently.

How to Use It Efficiently

  • Start with your real current stats from in-game character details.
  • Increase enhancement by +1 or +2 and compare gear score per kinah.
  • Test socket counts and average manastone quality to find best upgrade order.
  • For PvP builds, increase PvP bonus and compare TTK against common enemy defense values.
  • For PvE builds, focus on stable DPS and avoid overpaying for tiny marginal gains.

Upgrade Priority Recommendations

Early Progression

Improve base weapon attack first. Low enhancement on a strong base weapon usually outperforms high enhancement on weak gear.

Mid Progression

Push stable enhancement levels and fill sockets with affordable, consistent manastones. At this stage, consistency beats high-risk gambling.

Late Progression

Focus on set completion thresholds and premium manastones. If your kinah budget is tight, invest where your score gain per kinah is highest.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Overvaluing one stat and ignoring total survivability.
  • Ignoring enchant cost variance when targeting very high enhancement levels.
  • Using only raw attack for PvP planning without enemy mitigation assumptions.
  • Socketing expensive stones too early before final gear is secured.

Final Notes

No third-party tool can perfectly mirror every hidden combat coefficient in Aion, but a strong model is still extremely useful for planning. Use this calculator to compare options, reduce waste, and make each upgrade step count. If you want deeper optimization, run multiple scenarios: one for duels, one for sieges, and one for dungeon farming.
