Apex Pack & Heirloom Progress Calculator

This tool uses common community assumptions for level-based packs (199 by level 500, 544 by level 2000). Event heirloom unlocks are counted separately and do not add Apex Packs.

How this Apex Legends pack calculator works

If you are tracking your way to heirloom shards, the most important number is your total Apex Packs opened. This calculator estimates that number using your account level, purchased packs, battle pass history, and extra packs from events or promos.

Apex has a pity system: you are guaranteed heirloom shards by the 500th pack in a cycle. You can still pull shards earlier, but the 500-pack cap is what most players track.

What is included in the estimate

1) Packs earned from account level

The calculator includes level-based pack rewards up to level 2000, including prestige tiers. The model used matches the widely referenced totals:

  • Level 1-500: up to 199 packs
  • Level 501-2000: up to 345 additional packs
  • Total by level 2000: 544 packs

2) Packs from battle passes and extras

Completed premium battle passes are estimated at 14 packs each. You can also add extra packs from quests, special reward tracks, login events, or promotional bundles.

3) Collection event heirlooms

If you fully complete a collection event, you can receive a direct mythic/heirloom unlock. Those are guaranteed unlocks, but they are separate from your 500-pack pity counter, so they are shown on their own line.

How to use this heirloom progress tracker

  1. Enter your current account level.
  2. Add purchased Apex Packs.
  3. Enter how many premium battle passes you fully completed.
  4. Add extra packs from events or non-standard rewards.
  5. If relevant, enter completed collection events for direct heirloom unlocks.
  6. Click Calculate.

You will instantly see your estimated total packs, your current cycle progress, and how many packs remain until the next guaranteed heirloom.

Important notes about accuracy

  • If you opened packs on old accounts or multiple platforms, your exact total may differ.
  • Some seasonal reward structures changed over time, so this is a best-practice estimate.
  • If you have already received shards in your current 500-pack cycle, your personal counter may have reset.

In short: this is a practical planning tool, not an official Respawn data export. For most players, it gives a very useful estimate of heirloom pacing.

FAQ

Does getting an heirloom from a collection event reset my pack pity?

No. Direct event unlocks are separate from the normal Apex Pack pity counter.

Can heirloom shards drop before 500 packs?

Yes. The 500th pack is a guarantee, but an earlier random drop is possible.

What if I am exactly at 500-cycle progress?

If your progress shows 0 / 500 after calculation, that means your estimated total landed exactly on a pity boundary. You should have hit a guaranteed drop at that threshold in that cycle.
