Artifact Score Calculator
Enter your artifact substats and weights to estimate quality, crit value, and build efficiency.
What Is an Artifact Calculator?
An artifact calculator helps you evaluate gear quality without guessing. If your game uses randomized substats, it can be hard to tell whether a piece is genuinely strong or just looks good at first glance. A calculator turns that messy decision into simple numbers.
This page gives you three practical outputs: a weighted artifact score, crit value (CV), and efficiency against a theoretical maximum. Together, these metrics make it easier to decide whether to keep, upgrade, or use a piece as fodder.
How This Artifact Calculator Works
1) Weighted Score
Not every build values stats equally. A burst DPS may prioritize Crit and ATK, while a support might need Energy Recharge more. The calculator multiplies each substat by the weight you set, then adds everything together:
- Score = (Crit Rate × weight) + (Crit Damage × weight) + (ATK% × weight) + ...
- Higher score means the artifact aligns better with your selected build priorities.
2) Crit Value (CV)
Crit Value is a common shorthand used in many RPG communities:
- CV = (Crit Rate × 2) + Crit Damage
CV is not the whole story, but it is still useful for quick comparisons between offensive pieces.
3) Efficiency %
The calculator compares your weighted score to an estimated maximum for the selected rarity. This gives a percentage-based quality signal. The higher the efficiency, the closer your artifact is to a top-end roll profile for your chosen weighting.
How to Use It Correctly
- Select the artifact rarity (4★ or 5★).
- Enter current level and all relevant substats.
- Set stat weights for your specific character and team.
- Calculate and compare multiple artifacts with the same weights.
Tip: keep your weights consistent during one gear session. If you keep changing weights, comparisons become noisy and less useful.
Suggested Weight Profiles
General DPS Profile
- Crit Rate: 2.0
- Crit Damage: 1.0
- ATK%: 1.2
- ER%: 0.8 to 1.2 (depends on burst uptime needs)
- EM: 0.2 to 0.8 (reaction builds higher)
Support / Utility Profile
- ER%: 1.5 to 2.0
- HP% or DEF%: 0.8 to 1.5 (character dependent)
- Crit stats: lower unless your support also deals meaningful damage
Interpreting Results
- Efficiency under 40%: usually replaceable.
- 40–60%: usable early or mid progression.
- 60–75%: strong piece for many accounts.
- 75%+: high quality, often worth locking.
These cutoffs are practical guidelines, not strict rules. Main stat correctness, set bonuses, and team needs can outweigh raw efficiency.
Common Mistakes Players Make
- Overvaluing CV while ignoring ER breakpoints.
- Evaluating artifacts with different weight settings.
- Keeping “pretty” pieces that do not fit any real build.
- Ignoring opportunity cost (upgrade materials are limited).
Final Thoughts
An artifact calculator does not replace game knowledge, but it dramatically improves consistency. If you use it as a decision framework—not an absolute truth machine—you will waste fewer resources and build stronger characters faster. Save your preferred weights, compare fairly, and optimize with intent.
