What this Atlas Earth calculator does

This tool helps you estimate passive rental income in Atlas Earth using your current parcel counts and boost habits. Instead of guessing, you can model daily, monthly, and yearly earnings in seconds. It also gives you a simple break-even estimate if you enter a cost-per-parcel value.

If you are deciding whether to buy more parcels, optimize ad-boost consistency, or compare strategies, this calculator gives you a clear baseline.

How the calculator works

1) Parcel rarity mix

Each parcel rarity has a different base rental rate. Your total base earnings per second are calculated as:

  • (Common parcels × common rate)
  • + (Rare parcels × rare rate)
  • + (Epic parcels × epic rate)
  • + (Legendary parcels × legendary rate)

2) Ad boost schedule

Boosting can significantly increase your earnings. The calculator assumes your multiplier applies only for the number of hours per day you enter. Remaining hours are treated as normal 1x rate.

  • If you boost all day: earnings are close to base × multiplier.
  • If you boost part-time: earnings are blended between boosted and non-boosted time.

3) ROI and payback estimate

If you include an estimated dollar cost per parcel, the calculator computes approximate total cost and how many days of income are needed to recover it. This is useful for long-term planning, but it is still a rough estimate—not a guarantee.

Quick strategy insights

  • Consistency beats spikes: Missing boost hours can reduce yearly income more than most players expect.
  • Higher rarity helps: Better parcel mix increases your base rate and every boosted hour becomes more valuable.
  • Track with real data: Compare estimates with your actual in-game payouts monthly and adjust assumptions.
  • Use projection periods: Run 30, 90, and 365-day scenarios to set realistic expectations.

Example planning scenario

Suppose you own 80 common, 30 rare, 15 epic, and 5 legendary parcels. You maintain a 30x boost for 18 hours daily. With those assumptions, your annual estimate may differ dramatically from a player who only boosts 8 hours per day, even with the exact same parcel count.

The lesson is simple: your parcel mix matters, but your boost consistency usually has the biggest short-term impact on earnings.

Limitations to keep in mind

  • Game economics can change, including rates, multipliers, or event bonuses.
  • Taxes, fees, and withdrawal limitations are not included.
  • This tool does not account for opportunity cost or market alternatives.
  • Use it as a planning aid, not financial advice.

FAQ

Can I change the default parcel rates?

Yes. Open the Advanced section and edit each rarity rate manually.

Why does my break-even look long?

Atlas Earth income is generally gradual. Break-even depends heavily on your cost assumptions, rarity distribution, and boost discipline.

How often should I recalculate?

Recalculate whenever your parcel totals change or your boost schedule shifts. A monthly update cadence works well for most players.
