Inclusive vs. exclusive counting
This is the most important concept when working with date differences.
- Exclusive end date (default): Counts full day boundaries between two dates.
- Inclusive end date: Counts both boundary dates as part of the range.
Example: March 1 to March 2 is 1 day exclusive, but 2 days inclusive.
