Elden Ring Build Stat Calculator

Pick a starting class, enter your target attributes (1-99), then calculate your minimum required level. You can also auto-find the best starting class for your target build.

Target Attributes

How this Elden Ring stat calculator works

This tool helps you plan a build by calculating the minimum character level required to reach your desired attributes. In Elden Ring, each class starts with a different level and different base stats, so the same end build can have very different final levels depending on your class choice.

The calculator uses the game’s core rule: every time you level up, you add exactly one point to one attribute. So your final level is simply your class’s starting level plus all attribute increases needed to hit your target values.

Why starting class optimization matters

If you care about PvP brackets, co-op matchmaking ranges, or squeezing out the most efficient rune level, starting class selection is huge. Choosing a class with low values in stats you do not need can save several levels by the end of your build.

  • Lower final level for the same damage output and survivability.
  • Cleaner stat spread for focused weapon scaling.
  • More flexibility to hybridize later with fewer “wasted” points.

Recommended stat targets by build style

Strength-heavy melee

Prioritize Vigor, Endurance, and Strength. A common late-game baseline is around 50-60 Vigor, 25-35 Endurance, and 54+ Strength (especially for two-handing breakpoints).

Dexterity or quality builds

Dexterity-focused setups usually want enough Endurance to maintain medium roll with your preferred armor and weapon set. If you run buffs or utility incantations, reserve a few points for Mind and Faith requirements.

Intelligence or Faith casters

Casters should plan around spell requirements first, then survivability. The most common mistake is over-investing in damage stats too early and neglecting Vigor, which makes late-game bosses far less forgiving.

Soft caps to keep in mind

Elden Ring has diminishing returns at certain thresholds (“soft caps”). Exact values vary by stat effect, but practical planning usually includes these ideas:

  • Vigor gains are especially strong until around 40, then taper more after 60.
  • Damage stats (Strength/Dexterity/Intelligence/Faith/Arcane) often see major efficiency up to around 55-60, then drop.
  • Mind and Endurance are quality-of-life multipliers; don’t ignore them for pure damage numbers.

Build planning tips for respec and progression

Since Rennala allows respec using Larval Tears, you can treat this calculator as both a final build planner and a milestone planner. Set interim goals for level 50, 80, and 120/150 to smooth progression and avoid awkward mid-game performance dips.

  • Set weapon/spell requirement checkpoints first.
  • Raise Vigor early for survivability consistency.
  • Scale damage stats once your core survivability floor is secure.

Frequently asked questions

Does this include weapon scaling, talismans, or buffs?

No. This calculator focuses on raw attribute and level planning. It is a rune level and stat distribution planner, not a damage simulator.

Why does a class sometimes fail my target?

If your target stat is lower than a class’s base stat, that exact spread is impossible on that class because you cannot reduce base attributes. Choose another class or raise that target to at least the class base value.

What level should I target for endgame builds?

For many players, level 125-150 is a practical endgame range for both PvE and organized PvP. Your preferred content should guide this decision.
