How EvAU scoring works
1) Nota de acceso (0 to 10)
The base access score combines your Bachillerato average and your mandatory EvAU exam result:
Nota de acceso = (0.6 × Bachillerato) + (0.4 × Fase General)
- Bachillerato contributes 60%.
- Mandatory phase contributes 40%.
- To pass in most systems, the mandatory phase usually needs at least 4, and the final access score should be at least 5.
2) Nota de admisión (0 to 14)
For competitive degrees, universities also apply weighting from specific phase subjects:
Nota de admisión = Nota de acceso + (a × M1) + (b × M2)
- M1 and M2 are your two best optional subjects.
- a and b are the weights (typically 0.1 or 0.2).
- Maximum total score is 14 points.
