FE Heroes Quick Combat Calculator

Estimate one-round damage in Fire Emblem Heroes using a simplified combat model. Great for quick checks before Arena, Aether Raids, or PvE maps.

Note: FEH uses multiple rounding steps and skill-specific exceptions. This tool gives a clean estimate for planning and comparison.

What This FE Heroes Calculator Does

This FE Heroes calculator helps you quickly estimate combat outcomes by combining the core damage factors most players check first: attack stat, weapon triangle advantage, effective damage, special scaling, damage reduction, and total number of hits. Instead of opening a full simulator every time, you can get a fast estimate in seconds.

It is especially useful when you are deciding between two builds, testing whether a unit can secure a one-round KO, or figuring out if extra true damage is worth more than a small Atk increase.

How the Damage Estimate Is Calculated

Base Flow

  • Start with Attacker Atk.
  • Apply weapon triangle modifier (x1.2, x1.0, or x0.8).
  • Apply effective damage if active (x1.5).
  • Subtract defender Def or Res based on attack type.
  • Apply special multiplier.
  • Add flat true damage.
  • Apply percentage damage reduction.
  • Multiply by number of hits.

Why This Is Useful

FEH combat can get complicated fast with effects like DR piercing, brave attacks, follow-up denial, pre-combat damage, Savior interactions, and support buffs. This calculator focuses on the core arithmetic so you can answer practical questions quickly: “Do I KO?”, “How much HP remains?”, and “What changes if I gain triangle advantage?”

Step-by-Step Usage

  1. Enter your unit's visible or effective Atk value.
  2. Pick physical or magical damage.
  3. Enter enemy HP, Def, and Res.
  4. Choose triangle state and whether effectiveness applies.
  5. Add special multiplier and true damage if relevant.
  6. Set enemy damage reduction and expected hit count.
  7. Click Calculate Damage.

Example Build Check

Suppose your attacker has 72 Atk and hits physically into a foe with 55 HP and 40 Def. With triangle advantage, no effective damage, a 1.5x special, 7 true damage, and 40% DR on the enemy:

  • Your per-hit damage drops significantly after DR.
  • But a second hit can still secure the KO depending on final per-hit value.
  • By changing only one field at a time, you can see whether Atk stacking or DR bypass support is more impactful.

Practical FEH Optimization Tips

1) Compare Builds, Not Just Stats

A build with lower visible Atk can still outperform if it adds true damage or a stronger special cycle. Use the calculator to compare full damage packages.

2) Respect Damage Reduction

DR effects can completely change matchups. Test your expected output against 30%, 40%, and 50% DR to avoid surprises.

3) Plan for Reliable KOs

If your total damage barely exceeds enemy HP, one missed condition can fail the KO. Build for a comfortable margin whenever possible.

Limitations

This FE Heroes calculator is intentionally simplified. It does not model every in-game interaction such as exact speed checks, follow-up prevention, pre-combat chip damage, miracle effects, fixed special triggers, or DR nullification ordering. For tournament-grade precision, use a full combat sim.

Still, for quick build decisions and day-to-day play, this calculator provides a fast and practical estimate.
