Fate/Grand Order Damage Calculator
Estimate minimum, average, and maximum damage for a single card/NP and total hits.
Tip: NP uses the NP Multiplier field and ignores card position/critical.
Min per hit: 0
Avg per hit: 0
Max per hit: 0
Total min: 0

How this FGO damage calculator helps
Fate/Grand Order has many overlapping buffs, class interactions, and random damage variance. This calculator gives you a fast way to estimate how hard a card or Noble Phantasm will hit before you enter a quest. Instead of guessing, you can test setups for farming nodes, boss fights, and challenge quests.
What this calculator includes
- Servant ATK + flat attack bonus for base offensive stats.
- Card type scaling for Buster, Arts, Quick, Extra, and NP.
- NP multiplier support so you can model NP levels and overcharge-like scaling manually.
- Buff stacking including attack up, card up, NP damage up, power mod, and special attack mod.
- Class and attribute modifiers to reflect matchup advantage.
- Random damage range using FGO-style min/avg/max spread.
Formula overview
The calculator uses a practical approximation of FGO damage flow:
Damage = (ATK × 0.23 × Card Type × Position × NP Multiplier) × Buff Terms × Advantage Terms × Random Factor − Damage Cut
Where buff terms combine attack, defense down, card performance, NP damage, power mod, and special attack multipliers. Random factor is computed as min (0.9), average (~0.999), and max (1.099), then shown both per hit and across total hits.
Quick note on critical hits
Critical is available for normal command cards and modeled as a 2.0x modifier in this tool. When NP is selected, critical is disabled because Noble Phantasms cannot crit.
How to use the calculator
- Enter your servant’s visible ATK and any flat ATK add-ons.
- Select the card type and set NP multiplier if using Noble Phantasm.
- Input buffs from skills, CEs, mystic code, or event effects.
- Set class and attribute matchup values.
- Press Calculate Damage and compare min/avg/max totals.
Practical team-building tips
For farming
- Prioritize stable average damage over extreme max rolls.
- Use class advantage first, then add card/NP buffs for breakpoints.
- If your wave clear fails by a small amount, check damage cut and defense buffs on enemies.
For challenge quests
- Use min roll as your safety value, not just average.
- Special attack modifiers can outperform pure attack buffs in niche fights.
- Re-calculate after changing CE loadout; flat ATK and damage buffs scale differently.
Limitations
This is a streamlined calculator. It does not model every engine detail (exact class attack coefficients per servant, hard-coded enemy traits, or additive fixed damage effects beyond a simple damage-cut field). For most planning purposes, it remains very useful and fast.
Final thoughts
If you like optimizing turns, this FGO damage calculator can save you a lot of AP and trial runs. Test a few buff combinations, identify your damage floor, and build cleaner clears for both daily farming and high-pressure boss content.
