FGO Material & QP Calculator
Enter how many materials you need and already own. The calculator will show your remaining farming needs and a rough AP estimate.
| Material | Required | Owned | AP / Drop (est.) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Proof of Hero | |||
| Evil Bone | |||
| Dragon Fang | |||
| Void's Dust | |||
| Forbidden Page | |||
| Homunculus Baby | |||
| Phoenix Feather | |||
| Octuplet Crystals | |||
| Claw of Chaos | |||
| Heart of the Foreign God |
Note: AP per drop and QP yields are estimates. Event quests and boost campaigns can reduce real farming cost significantly.
Why use an FGO material calculator?
Fate/Grand Order progression is all about planning. You summon a Servant, get excited, and then realize you need bones, dust, fangs, pages, QP, and more QP just to unlock their full potential. A material calculator helps you turn that chaos into a clear checklist so you know exactly what to farm next.
Instead of guessing or juggling multiple spreadsheets, you can input your required resources and current inventory in one place. This gives you immediate answers to key questions: what am I missing, how much AP do I need, and should I farm materials first or QP first?
How to use this calculator
1) Enter total required materials
Use the Required column for the total amount you need for your current goal. That could be:
- Final Ascension only
- Skill 6/6/6 for one Servant
- Skill 10/10/10 for a favorite unit
- A full team prep plan before an event
2) Enter what you already own
Use the Owned column for your inventory count. The tool subtracts owned from required and only shows the deficit. If you already have enough of a material, it won’t appear in your deficit list.
3) Adjust AP/drop assumptions
The AP/drop values are rough default estimates. If you have better data from your preferred free quest route, update those values. This helps the AP estimate match your real farming path more closely.
4) Add QP planning
QP is often the true bottleneck for maxing skills. Enter your target QP and your current QP to estimate how many Treasure Vault runs you need and how much AP that adds to your total.
A practical farming workflow
If you want efficient progress without burnout, use this sequence:
- Set one clear target (for example: level 90 and 9/9/9 for one Servant).
- Calculate deficits and identify your biggest AP sink.
- Farm highest-priority material first so your next upgrade breakpoint arrives sooner.
- Switch to QP when your mats are ready but enhancement costs block progress.
- Recalculate after each major upgrade to stay focused.
Prioritization tips for better account growth
Focus on impact, not perfection
Going from skill level 1 to 6 on core supports usually gives more immediate value than pushing one favorite from 9 to 10. Early gains are often cheaper and more impactful.
Use events to erase expensive deficits
Lottery events, raid events, and event shops can massively outperform free quests for certain materials. If your calculator shows huge deficits in high-rarity materials, it may be smarter to wait for the next event cycle.
Keep an emergency material reserve
A small reserve of universal items (bones, dust, proofs, gems) lets you raise newly acquired Servants faster. This prevents “dead account time” where you can’t use a new unit due to basic shortages.
FAQ
Does this calculator use live drop rate data?
No. This version uses manual AP/drop estimates you can edit. It’s designed for fast planning and flexibility rather than live database syncing.
Can I plan multiple Servants at once?
Yes. Sum the total required materials for all target Servants, then enter combined values in the Required column. The calculator handles aggregate planning well.
Is this only for endgame Masters?
Not at all. New players benefit even more because resources are tight. A simple plan prevents wasted AP and keeps your main team progressing steadily.
Final thoughts
An FGO material calculator is less about math and more about momentum. Clear goals reduce frustration, improve AP efficiency, and help you enjoy building Servants instead of feeling blocked by hidden costs. Use the calculator regularly, update your numbers after major farming sessions, and you’ll always know the next best step for your Chaldea.
