FIFA Player Stat Calculator
Estimate a role-adjusted overall from core face stats. Enter values from 1 to 99.
What this FIFA stat calculator does
This tool helps you estimate how strong a player profile is for a specific on-pitch role. Instead of looking at just one face-card number, the calculator weights pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, and physical differently based on position. A striker should not be judged the same way as a center back, and this calculator reflects that.
It is useful for quick comparisons when you are deciding between players in Ultimate Team, Career Mode scouting, or custom squad building. You can also test how skill moves and weak foot affect the final rating in attacking roles.
How the formula works
1) Position-based weighting
Each position uses its own stat priorities. For example, center backs value defending and physical far more than shooting, while wingers value pace and dribbling heavily. The calculator multiplies each stat by a role-specific weight and sums the result.
2) Technical bonus
Skill moves and weak foot add a small bonus. This gives extra value to versatile attackers and balanced midfielders, without overpowering core attributes.
3) Meta score and tier
In addition to estimated overall, the tool gives a meta score (how practical the build is in modern gameplay patterns) and a quick tier label:
- 90+: Elite
- 85-89: Top Tier
- 80-84: Strong Starter
- 75-79: Usable / Rotation
- Below 75: Development Project
Best ways to use the calculator
Compare two players quickly
Enter Player A stats, note the result, then enter Player B. If the overall is close, use the “strongest” and “weakest” attributes shown in the result to decide who better fits your tactical system.
Check role changes before position switches
Try the same stats under different positions (for example CM vs CDM, or ST vs winger). You may discover that a card you thought was average at one role becomes excellent in another.
Plan upgrades on a budget
If you cannot afford a premium card, find players with similar weighted output in your target role. This is often more practical than chasing only official OVR.
Example: interpreting results
Suppose a winger has high pace and dribbling, average passing, and low defending. As a winger, that profile can rate very well. But if you switch the role to CM, the same input may fall because passing, defending, and physical become more important. That does not mean the player is bad—it means role fit matters.
Limitations to keep in mind
- This is an independent estimator, not an official EA formula.
- In-game traits, body type, work rates, and animations are not included.
- Chemistry styles, tactical instructions, and patch changes can alter real performance.
- Goalkeeper calculations are excluded because GK uses separate core attributes.
Use this calculator as a smart first filter, then combine it with your own gameplay testing.
