foe 1.9 calculator

Forge of Empires 1.9 Calculator

Use this tool to calculate thread values for rank rewards based on your Arc bonus and estimate owner contribution remaining.

Base reward FP by rank (before Arc bonus)

Rounding method: floor (rounded down), which is common for conservative FOE planning.

What is a FOE 1.9 calculator?

In Forge of Empires, a “1.9 calculator” helps you determine how many Forge Points each rank should pay when an Arc owner has a 90% contribution bonus. The name “1.9” comes from the multiplier: 1 + 0.90 = 1.9. Players use this to run fair 1.9 threads, avoid mistakes, and speed up Great Building leveling.

How the math works

Every rank has a base FP reward shown on the Great Building level screen. A player with Arc bonus receives extra FP from that reward. The core formula is:

  • Thread value = floor(base reward × (1 + Arc bonus % / 100))
  • At Arc 90%, that becomes floor(base reward × 1.9)

Example: if first place base reward is 100 FP, then a 90% Arc player receives floor(100 × 1.9) = 190 FP, so the 1.9 thread value is usually 190.

How to use this calculator

Step 1: Enter level and progress details

Fill in total FP needed for the level, the current FP already on the building, and how much of that is your own contribution.

Step 2: Set Arc bonus

Keep 90 for a classic 1.9 setup, or enter another value for 1.85, 1.92, 2.0, and custom guild rules.

Step 3: Enter base rewards

Copy the rank rewards (1st through 5th) from your in-game level view. Then click Calculate 1.9 Values.

Step 4: Read your plan

The output gives you:

  • Calculated thread value for each rank.
  • Total FP expected from all listed spots.
  • Estimated owner FP still needed if spots fill at the shown values.

Why players rely on 1.9 threads

  • Consistency: everyone uses the same formula.
  • Speed: easy copy-paste values into chat.
  • Trust: transparent numbers reduce disputes.
  • Efficiency: better planning for Arc, Observatory, Zeus, Castel, and other Great Buildings.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Using the wrong base rewards (from the wrong level).
  • Forgetting that some communities round differently.
  • Posting spots before enough owner preload is in place.
  • Assuming all current FP on a GB are owner FP when outside investors have already added points.

Practical tip for safe leveling

This calculator gives solid planning values, but real in-game safety also depends on ranking order and lock timing. If you run public or fast-moving threads, preload first, then post spots in order, and re-check after each claim.

FAQ

Can I use this for 1.92 or 2.0?

Yes. Change Arc bonus from 90 to any value you want.

Why does rounding down matter?

Rounding down is conservative and widely accepted in FOE planning. It helps prevent overestimating return values.

Does this replace advanced lock calculators?

Not fully. This tool focuses on thread value and contribution planning. For deep lock/snipe simulations, pair it with a dedicated lock calculator.
