How the calculation works
1) Space-based capacity
The calculator tests all standard box rotations (length/width/height permutations). For each orientation, it computes how many fit along container length, width, and height, then multiplies those values to get total box count.
- Count along length = floor(container length / box side A)
- Count along width = floor(container width / box side B)
- Count along height = floor(container height / box side C)
- Total = length count × width count × height count
2) Weight-based capacity
Even if more boxes physically fit, container payload can become the limiting factor. The calculator computes payload capacity as:
- Weight limit count = floor(max payload / box weight)
The final recommended load is the lower of space-based and weight-based limits.
3) Efficiency adjustment
Real loading rarely achieves perfect geometric packing. The efficiency value lets you apply a practical reduction (for example 90% to 98%) based on product shape, handling needs, and loading pattern.

- 20' GP: 589 × 235 × 239 cm, payload around 28,200 kg
- 40' GP: 1203 × 235 × 239 cm, payload around 26,700 kg
- 40' HC: 1203 × 235 × 269 cm, payload around 26,500 kg
- 45' HC: 1355 × 235 × 269 cm, payload around 27,700 kg
