Fusion Pokémon Calculator
Enter base stats for two Pokémon to estimate fused base stats, total BST, and level-based battle stats (using the same IV/EV value for all stats).
Head Pokémon
Body Pokémon
Formula model follows common fan fusion rules: head favors Attack/Sp. Atk, body favors HP/Defense/Sp. Def/Speed.
What this Fusion Pokémon Calculator does
This tool helps you quickly estimate fused stats when combining two Pokémon. Instead of calculating each stat by hand, you can type each parent's base stats and instantly see:
- Fused base HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed
- Base stat total (BST) for both fusion orientations
- Estimated level stats using one IV and one EV setting for all stats
- A side-by-side comparison so you can choose the better head/body order
Fusion formula used
For the standard fusion orientation (A as head, B as body), the calculator applies weighted stat blending:
- HP = floor((2 × Body HP + Head HP) / 3)
- Attack = floor((2 × Head Attack + Body Attack) / 3)
- Defense = floor((2 × Body Defense + Head Defense) / 3)
- Sp. Atk = floor((2 × Head Sp. Atk + Body Sp. Atk) / 3)
- Sp. Def = floor((2 × Body Sp. Def + Head Sp. Def) / 3)
- Speed = floor((2 × Body Speed + Head Speed) / 3)
The reverse orientation simply swaps which parent is head and body. This can produce meaningfully different outcomes, especially for offensive vs. bulky team builds.
How to use it strategically
1) Decide your battle role first
If you want a fast tank, prioritize a body Pokémon with strong HP, Defense, Sp. Def, and Speed. If you want a breaker, pick a head with high Attack or Sp. Atk.
2) Compare normal and reverse every time
Many players only check one orientation and miss a better stat spread. The side-by-side output helps you identify whether your fusion should lead with offense (head) or bulk (body).
3) Use level stats for practical team planning
Base stats are useful, but battle decisions usually happen at a fixed level. By entering level, IV, and EV assumptions, you get a clearer view of real in-game performance.
Tips for better fusion decisions
- Use high-Speed bodies when you need momentum and tempo.
- Use high-Sp. Atk heads for special sweeping options.
- Don’t chase BST alone; distribution matters more than totals.
- Test both physical and special variants before finalizing your build.
- Pair the fusion’s strongest stats with moves and abilities that amplify them.
Quick FAQ
Does this calculator include typing, abilities, or moves?
No. This page focuses on stat math only. Typing and ability interactions should be evaluated separately.
Are nature modifiers included?
The battle stat estimate here assumes a neutral nature for simplicity. It is designed for fast comparison and planning, not full simulator-level optimization.
Can I use this for any Pokémon pair?
Yes. As long as you provide valid base stats, the tool will calculate both directions. It works great for experimenting with custom combinations and theorycrafting.
