Interactive Genshin Artifact Calculator
Estimate expected hit damage and quickly score one artifact piece using Crit Value (CV) plus weighted utility stats.
1) Build Inputs
2) Artifact Substats (single-piece scoring)
Formulas used: Total ATK = Base ATK × (1 + ATK%) + Flat ATK. CV = (2 × Crit Rate) + Crit DMG. Damage is a practical estimate, not an exact frame-by-frame simulator.
What this Genshin Artifact Calculator Does
This tool gives you two things quickly: an estimated average hit damage for your current build and a practical score for one artifact piece. It is designed for fast farming decisions when your inventory is full and you need to choose what to keep, level, or feed.
Core outputs at a glance
- Total ATK after ATK% and flat ATK are applied
- Non-crit, crit, and average hit to reflect real consistency
- Crit Value (CV) for artifact quality comparison
- Weighted artifact score including ATK%, ER, and EM utility
How to Read Crit Value (CV)
CV is a community standard for judging artifact substats. The formula is simple: CV = 2 × Crit Rate + Crit DMG. It helps you compare pieces quickly, especially flowers and feathers where the main stat is fixed.
Quick CV benchmarks
- 20 CV: usable in early progression
- 30 CV: solid for most builds
- 40 CV: strong artifact
- 50+ CV: exceptional “god-roll” territory
Why Weighted Scoring Matters
CV alone is not everything. Many characters need Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery, or even ATK% consistency to outperform a higher-CV but awkward artifact. This calculator adds a weighted score to reflect broader stat value instead of crit tunnel vision.
The weighted score in this page is intentionally simple and editable in code if you want your own priorities. For example, Xiangling and Raiden teams may value ER and EM more than a hypercarry with dedicated battery support.
How the Damage Estimate Works
The damage section applies a simplified Genshin-style pipeline: total attack, talent multiplier, damage bonus, resistance impact, defense multiplier, and average crit expectation. It is meant for relative comparison, such as choosing between two goblets or circlets, not replacing full combat simulators.
Included mechanics
- Crit rate cap handling at 100%
- Enemy resistance multiplier behavior (negative, normal, high resistance)
- Reaction multiplier input for Vape/Melt or other amplifying contexts
Best Use Cases
- Comparing two artifacts before investing mora and fodder
- Evaluating if an off-piece with better substats beats a set piece
- Checking if more crit is better than more ATK% in your current setup
- Understanding trade-offs between consistency and peak damage
Final Tips for Artifact Farming Efficiency
Lock high-potential pieces early, especially those with double crit plus useful third and fourth stats. Avoid over-rolling weak starts unless you are missing key slots. Most importantly, evaluate artifacts in the context of your full build—not in isolation.
If you want stricter optimization, duplicate this page and tune the weighting section in JavaScript per character archetype (burst support, aggravate DPS, vape carry, freeze driver, and so on). A personal scoring profile is often the fastest path to better account efficiency.
