genshin stat calculator

Interactive Genshin Stat Calculator

Calculate estimated single-hit damage using your ATK, Crit, DMG Bonus, talent multiplier, enemy level, and resistance values.

Note: This calculator is optimized for ATK-scaling damage. HP/DEF scalers can still use the Crit and multiplier logic, but the base stat formula is different.
Estimated output will appear here.

What this Genshin stat calculator does

This tool helps you estimate your single-hit damage in Genshin Impact using a practical in-game formula: total ATK, talent multiplier, damage bonus, enemy defense, enemy resistance, and critical scaling. It gives you three useful outputs: non-crit damage, crit damage, and average expected damage.

If you are comparing artifact sets, deciding between a Crit Rate circlet and Crit DMG circlet, or testing whether more ATK% is better than more elemental bonus, this calculator gives quick direction without opening a spreadsheet.

How to use the calculator correctly

    1) Enter your offensive stats

    • Base ATK: Character base ATK + weapon base ATK (not including artifact ATK%).
    • ATK% Bonus: Total from artifacts, weapon passives, buffs, and set effects.
    • Flat ATK: Feather main stat + flat ATK substats + buffs.
    • Talent Multiplier: Use the percent shown in your talent description.
    • DMG Bonus: Elemental/Physical bonus + conditional damage bonuses.

    2) Enter your critical values

    • Crit Rate: Your total rate in percent.
    • Crit Damage: Your total crit damage in percent.

The calculator clamps Crit Rate to 0-100% for expected damage, so impossible values do not produce misleading results.

    3) Enter enemy and level settings

    • Enemy RES: Typical enemies are often around 10%, but this varies.
    • Character Level / Enemy Level: Used for defense multiplier.
    • Defense Shred / Ignore: Add effects like debuffs or character passives here.

Formula summary used by this page

    Total ATK

    Total ATK = Base ATK × (1 + ATK%) + Flat ATK

    Damage core (non-crit)

    Non-Crit = Total ATK × Talent Multiplier × (1 + DMG Bonus) × DEF Multiplier × RES Multiplier

    Critical scaling

    • Crit Hit = Non-Crit × (1 + Crit DMG)
    • Expected Hit = Non-Crit × (1 + Crit Rate × Crit DMG)

    Resistance behavior

The calculator uses the standard Genshin-style resistance curve, including the different behavior for negative resistance and very high resistance targets.

    How to interpret your results

Non-Crit Hit tells you your baseline reliability. Crit Hit shows your high-roll burst. Expected Hit is best for long rotations and consistent DPS comparison.

You also get a Crit Value (CV) readout and a crit-balance hint. As a general guideline for many ATK scalers, a ratio near 1:2 (Crit Rate : Crit DMG) is efficient unless your team has special buff windows.

    Build optimization tips

    For most ATK-scaling DPS units

    • Get enough ER for rotation consistency first.
    • Then optimize Crit Rate/Crit DMG balance.
    • Compare ATK% vs DMG Bonus with this calculator instead of guessing.
    • If your Crit Rate is low, expected damage usually benefits more from rate than more Crit DMG.

    For reaction or transformative teams

This page focuses on direct hit scaling. For reaction-heavy units (e.g., Bloom variants, Swirl-focused setups), Elemental Mastery and reaction formulas matter significantly more than raw ATK hit scaling.

    Example quick test workflow

Suppose you want to compare two circlets:

    • Build A: +31.1% Crit Rate
    • Build B: +62.2% Crit DMG

Enter your full stats for Build A, calculate, note expected hit, then swap to Build B and calculate again. The larger expected hit usually wins for sustained gameplay, while crit-hit value can matter for speedrun burst thresholds.

    Final thoughts

A good Genshin stat calculator does not replace gameplay testing, but it dramatically improves artifact and weapon decision quality. Use it as a fast filter, then confirm in real combat with your exact buffs, rotations, and team synergies.
