Interactive Genshin Talent Calculator
Enter your current and target talent levels for Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst. This tool calculates total talent books, enemy materials, weekly boss materials, Crowns of Insight, and Mora.
What this Genshin talent calculator does
Talent progression is one of the biggest power spikes in Genshin Impact. Levels 6 through 10 can massively improve damage scaling, utility, and team consistency. This calculator gives you a fast total for all key resources needed between your current and desired talent levels.
Instead of checking multiple wiki tables every time you plan a character, you can enter your three talent goals and instantly get one clean farming checklist. This is especially useful when planning:
- New character prep before a banner drops
- “6/6/6 first, then crown burst” upgrade paths
- Triple-crown endgame farming plans
- Mora budgeting across multiple characters
How talent costs are calculated
Standard assumptions used in this tool
This calculator uses the standard per-level material costs used by most characters from talent level 1 to 10. It includes:
- Teachings, Guide, and Philosophies talent books
- Common enemy materials (Tier 1 / Tier 2 / Tier 3)
- Weekly boss drops
- Crowns of Insight for level 10
- Mora cost per level step
Note: this planner focuses on direct talent materials only. It does not include character ascension requirements, weapon materials, EXP books, or artifact resin. Also, Traveler variants and a few edge cases may use different practical farming schedules depending on element and patch changes.
Reading your output
After you calculate, you will see a total materials summary and a talent-by-talent breakdown. Use the breakdown to prioritize your strongest value talents first (for example, burst-focused supports), then allocate crowns only where the damage return is worth it for your account goals.
Suggested farming strategy
1) Lock your target levels first
Before spending resin, decide a clear target like 6/8/8 or 6/9/10. This prevents overfarming one material while starving another.
2) Farm books on the correct domain day
Talent books are weekly schedule-gated. Plan condensed resin around your book day, and save fragile resin for burst farming sessions if you are rushing a new DPS.
3) Weekly boss drops are often the bottleneck
Many builds stall at levels 7–10 because weekly boss drops are limited. Always do your weekly bosses early so you can convert drops with Dream Solvent when needed.
4) Keep a Mora reserve
Talent leveling burns Mora very quickly, especially above level 6. If you are building multiple units, plan Mora leylines in parallel so you do not hit a progression wall.
Example planning scenario
Suppose you want a main carry at 6 / 9 / 10 from 1 / 1 / 1. Your burst line alone requires high-end resources including two weekly boss stages and one Crown. By using this calculator, you can compare whether pushing burst from 9 to 10 is better than bringing a support from 1/1/1 to 1/6/6 first.
FAQ
Does this include constellation bonus levels?
No. Constellations that add +3 talent levels do not change the base leveling cost from 1 to 10, so this tool tracks only actual upgrade levels.
Can I use this for every character?
For nearly all characters, yes. If a future patch changes talent costs for a specific unit, treat this as a strong baseline planner and verify in-game before final resin allocation.
Is triple-crowning worth it?
Usually only for favorites or hyper-invested carries. Many accounts gain more total team damage by leveling important talents across several characters instead of maxing all three on one unit.
