Honkai: Star Rail Warp Calculator
Plan your pulls for a limited character banner using Stellar Jade, Special Passes, pity, and guarantee status.
What this Honkai: Star Rail calculator does
This tool helps you answer the most important banner-planning question: “Do I have enough pulls?” You enter your available resources and current pity, then the calculator estimates your total pulls and compares them against worst-case pull requirements for the featured 5-star character.
It is designed for practical planning before patch launches, reruns, or when deciding whether to save for future characters like supports, sustain units, or new hypercarry releases.
How the math works
1) Pull conversion
- 1 Special Star Rail Pass = 1 pull
- 160 Stellar Jade = 1 pull
- Total pulls = floor(Stellar Jade / 160) + Special Passes
2) Pity and guarantee rules (worst case)
- Hard pity is treated as 90 pulls for each 5-star.
- If your next 5-star is guaranteed featured, first copy can cost up to 90 - current pity.
- If not guaranteed, first copy can cost up to 180 - current pity (lose 50/50, then hit pity again).
- Each additional featured copy is estimated at up to 180 pulls in worst-case planning.
How to use this calculator effectively
Step-by-step
- Enter your current Stellar Jade and Special Passes.
- Set your pity exactly as shown on the banner details page.
- Tick the guarantee box only if your next 5-star is guaranteed featured.
- Select target copies and press Calculate.
The result section shows your total pulls, pulls needed for your target, guaranteed copies in the worst case, and your shortfall (if any) in both pulls and Jade.
Example planning scenarios
Scenario A: Going for one copy (E0)
Suppose you have 12,800 Jade (80 pulls), 10 passes, and 20 pity with no guarantee. Your total is 90 pulls. Worst-case for one featured copy is 160 pulls (180 - 20), so you are short by 70 pulls (11,200 Jade).
Scenario B: You are guaranteed and near pity
If you have 7,200 Jade (45 pulls), 15 passes, 70 pity, and guarantee active, you only need 20 pulls max. You can safely secure one featured copy and still retain leftovers for the next banner.
Resource checklist for more pulls
- Daily Training and Nameless Honor progression
- Limited-time events and web events
- Simulated Universe weekly rewards
- Forgotten Hall / Pure Fiction / Apocalyptic Shadow reset cycles
- Story quests, companion missions, and exploration chests
- Monthly Embers Exchange (if available)
Practical pull strategy tips
- Always plan with worst-case numbers first; treat early 5-stars as bonus luck.
- If your shortfall is small, consider waiting for patch income before committing.
- Track pity and guarantee separately for each banner type.
- For Eidolons, set realistic targets to avoid draining future banner flexibility.
FAQ
Does this include soft pity rates?
No. This calculator is intentionally conservative and uses hard-pity worst-case planning. That makes it safer for budgeting and decision-making.
Can I use this for Light Cone banners?
Not directly. Light Cone banners use a different pity/guarantee structure, so you should use a separate Light Cone-specific calculator.
Why use worst-case calculations?
Because it prevents overcommitting. If your plan works in the worst case, everything better than that is upside.
