What this HSR pull calculator does

This calculator helps you answer the practical question every Trailblazer asks before a banner: “Do I have enough pulls?” It converts your Stellar Jade into pulls, adds tickets, then estimates your odds of getting the featured 5★ unit based on pity and guarantee status.

Instead of only giving one number, this tool provides a full planning snapshot:

  • Total pulls available right now
  • How far you are from hard pity
  • Chance to get at least one featured 5★
  • Chance to reach a multi-copy goal (E1, E2, up to E6)
  • Expected number of featured copies from your current resources

How HSR pity works (quick refresher)

1) 5★ hard pity

On the limited character warp, you are guaranteed a 5★ by the 90th pull since your last 5★. That means if you are at 70 pity, you are at most 20 pulls away from seeing a 5★.

2) 50/50 and guarantee

When a 5★ appears, it is either the featured character or a standard 5★. If you lose this 50/50, your next 5★ on that same banner type is guaranteed to be the featured unit.

3) Soft pity

Real drop rates increase before hard pity (commonly referred to as soft pity). This calculator uses a practical soft-pity model to produce realistic planning estimates. Numbers are very useful for decision-making, but still probabilistic.

How to use the calculator effectively

  1. Enter your current Stellar Jade and passes.
  2. Set your pity exactly as shown in your warp history.
  3. Set guarantee to 1 if your last limited 5★ was not featured; otherwise 0.
  4. Choose your target copies (1 for E0, 2 for E1, etc.).
  5. Review both the probability and worst-case pulls for risk control.

Planning strategy for banner decisions

If you are F2P or light spender

  • Prioritize guaranteed outcomes over coin-flip outcomes.
  • Use worst-case pulls to avoid getting trapped halfway to pity.
  • Treat “expected” value as guidance, not a promise.

If you are chasing eidolons

  • Set target copies to your endpoint (for example 3 for E2).
  • Compare your current odds now vs. after your next patch income.
  • Be realistic: variance gets larger the more copies you target.

Example scenario

Suppose you have 16,000 Stellar Jade, 25 passes, 30 pity, and you are not guaranteed. That gives roughly 125 pulls. Depending on variance, this can range from “very lucky early win” to “lose 50/50 and approach second pity.” The calculator quantifies that spread so you can decide whether to pull now or wait.

Important note

This is an unofficial community tool for planning. Actual in-game outcomes are random and can differ from expectation. Use it to make better decisions, not to assume guaranteed luck.
