HSR Warp Calculator
Plan your Honkai: Star Rail pulls by banner type, pity, and guarantee status.
What this HSR warp calculator does
This HSR warp calculator helps you estimate how many pulls you can make right now and how close you are to securing your target on a limited banner. It supports both Character Event Warp and Light Cone Event Warp.
The tool gives you a practical planning view:
- Total pulls available from your Stellar Jades and passes
- Pulls until your next guaranteed 5★ at hard pity
- Conservative count of 5★ pulls you can force with your current resources
- Worst-case pulls needed to hard guarantee your target copies
- Estimated probability of reaching your target based on banner rules
Quick refresher on Honkai: Star Rail pity rules
Character Event Warp
Character banners use a hard pity of 90 pulls for a 5★. If you lose the 50/50 (get a standard 5★), your next 5★ on that banner type is guaranteed to be the featured character.
Light Cone Event Warp
Light cone banners use a hard pity of 80 pulls for a 5★. If your 5★ is not the featured light cone, the next 5★ is guaranteed featured. The first non-guaranteed check is effectively a 75/25 split.
How to use this calculator
- Select your banner type (Character or Light Cone).
- Enter your Stellar Jades and current Special Pass count.
- Enter your current pity value from in-game history.
- Check the guarantee box if your next 5★ is guaranteed featured.
- Set your target copies and click Calculate.
The results are intentionally conservative where noted. In reality, you often hit 5★ before hard pity due to soft pity behavior, which means your real outcome may be better than the strict baseline shown.
Interpreting your result
“Hard guarantee possible”
If this is marked as possible, your current pull count is enough to secure your target even in the worst luck scenario allowed by the pity/guarantee system.
“Probability to reach target”
This estimate is based on the number of hard-pity 5★ opportunities your pulls can force. If your probability appears low, your best options are:
- Save until you hit hard guarantee thresholds
- Lower your target copies for this patch
- Split goals across multiple versions
Practical pull-planning strategy
1) Plan with worst-case first
Always start with hard guarantee math. If your account cannot survive worst-case variance, assume it will happen. This avoids panic spending and protects future pull plans.
2) Track pity and guarantee separately
Pity progress and guarantee state are your two biggest leverage points. Even a “small” pity lead can cut dozens of pulls from your required budget.
3) Build a patch-by-patch reserve
A simple reserve system works well:
- Reserve A: hard guarantee for your main priority
- Reserve B: flexible budget for side upgrades
- Reserve C: emergency stash for surprise reruns

This version is focused on limited Character and Light Cone warps where guarantee logic matters most for planning.
Is this an official HoYoverse tool?
No. This is an independent planning calculator for educational use.
