IVs vs EVs vs Nature: quick comparison
IVs (Individual Values)
Permanent hidden values generated when the Pokémon is created. In main series games, each stat usually ranges from 0 to 31. Higher IVs mean a higher long-term ceiling for that stat.
EVs (Effort Values)
Points earned through battles, training, or vitamins. EVs are trainable and can be redistributed in many games. They shape how your Pokémon grows, while IVs define potential.
Nature
