How this calculator works
1) Name conversion
Each letter is assigned a value from 1 to 9. The sequence repeats across the alphabet. Spaces and punctuation are ignored.

2) Reduction
The total is reduced by adding digits together until a single digit remains. If master numbers are enabled, 11, 22, and 33 are not reduced further.
3) Optional life path
If you provide your birth date, the calculator also produces a Life Path number by summing all digits in the date and reducing the total.
