What This North Node House Calculator Does
This tool finds the house placement of your North Node using two core data points from your natal chart: your Ascendant degree and your North Node degree. Once you input both, the calculator determines which life area (house) your growth path is focused on.
In astrology, the North Node is often interpreted as your developmental direction: where you’re invited to stretch, mature, and evolve. The house placement tells you where this growth tends to show up most strongly.

Whole Sign vs Equal House: Why Results May Differ
Whole Sign Houses
Each zodiac sign becomes one full house. If your Ascendant is in Gemini, Gemini is your 1st house, Cancer your 2nd, and so on. Degree inside the Ascendant sign does not shift house cusps in this method.
Equal Houses
The 1st house starts exactly at your Ascendant degree, and each next house begins 30° later. This makes the exact Ascendant degree highly important for house boundaries.
Neither system is “wrong.” Different astrologers prefer different systems. If you’re learning, compare both and see which interpretation resonates with your life experience.
