FGO NP Damage Calculator
Estimate your Noble Phantasm damage with buffs, class modifiers, and advantage multipliers.
What this np damage calculator does
This tool gives a quick estimate of Noble Phantasm damage in Fate/Grand Order. If you have ever asked, “Will this NP clear the wave?” or “Do I need one more buff?”, this calculator is made for exactly that. It combines your ATK value, NP multiplier, card type, class adjustments, and common buff categories into a single result that shows minimum, average, and maximum possible damage.
Unlike a tiny one-field calculator, this version is practical for real planning: farming setups, challenge quest turns, and benchmark testing across different CEs or support choices.
NP damage formula (simplified)
Under the hood, this page uses a simplified but useful formula:
In-game damage has floor rounding at several steps. Because of that, your exact game value can differ slightly from this estimate. Still, this approach is excellent for comparing setups and making fast decisions.
How to use the calculator
1) Enter your Servant ATK and NP multiplier
Your ATK should include level, Fou, CE stats, and any permanent boosts you want in the calculation. NP multiplier depends on NP level and overcharge tier for that specific NP.
2) Pick card type and class values
- Buster NP generally hits harder due to card mod.
- Arts NP is neutral card scaling with better refund interactions (not covered here).
- Quick NP has lower card mod but can perform well with the right buffs.
- Set Class Advantage and Attribute Advantage to match your target.
3) Add buffs and special modifiers
Enter active buffs from skills, mystic code, supports, debuffs on enemy, and trait bonuses. Then calculate to see min/avg/max damage spread.
Practical optimization tips
- Stacking different buff categories is usually stronger than stacking only one category.
- Class advantage often matters more than small ATK increases.
- Trait-based power mods can dramatically raise boss damage.
- Always plan around minimum damage when consistency matters.
- Use average damage only for rough expectation, not guaranteed clears.
Common mistakes players make
Ignoring damage variance
If your average is just above enemy HP, your minimum roll may still fail. For stable farming, aim for a safe margin above HP.
Forgetting attribute disadvantage
Attribute mismatch can quietly reduce your output. If a setup feels weaker than expected, this is often the reason.
Mixing additive vs multiplicative thinking
ATK Up and Defense Down share one category in this simplified model, while Card Up and NP Up multiply separately. That is why one extra buff from a different category can be more valuable than another buff of the same type.
FAQ
Is this calculator exact to in-game values?
It is a strong estimate and excellent for planning. Tiny differences may occur from exact rounding order and hidden edge cases.
Can I use this for both ST and AoE NP?
Yes. The calculator returns total per-target NP damage estimate. If it is an AoE NP, compare that number to each enemy’s HP.
Does this include critical hits?
No. NP damage is treated independently from normal card crit multipliers in this tool.
