Apex Pack Heirloom Calculator

Use this pack apex calculator to estimate how many Apex Packs you have opened and how close you are to the 500-pack heirloom pity guarantee.

Level-based packs use the classic level 1-500 reward model (max 199 packs from leveling). Results are estimates and not affiliated with Respawn or EA.

What this pack apex calculator helps you do

If you play Apex Legends, you already know the big question: How close am I to heirloom shards? This calculator gives you a quick estimate based on your account level and any additional packs you opened from purchases, battle passes, or events.

The main goal is clarity. Most players lose track over multiple seasons, especially when packs come from mixed sources. With one pass through the fields above, you can estimate:

  • Your total packs opened
  • Your remaining packs until the 500-pack guarantee
  • Your rough probability of having pulled shards already
  • An approximate cost to reach pity from your current position

How the calculator works

1) Packs earned from account level

This page uses the classic level 1-500 pack progression. In that model:

  • Levels 2-20: roughly one pack per level (19 total)
  • Levels 21-300: one pack every 2 levels (140 total in this range)
  • Levels 301-500: one pack every 5 levels (40 total in this range)

That adds up to a maximum of 199 level-earned packs by level 500.

2) Added packs from other sources

After level packs, the tool adds all extra packs you enter manually:

  • Purchased packs
  • Battle pass and event packs
  • Free promos, quest rewards, or similar
  • Manual adjustment if your own notes suggest a correction

3) Heirloom pity estimate

Apex has a known pity mechanic where an heirloom is guaranteed by the 500th pack if you have not received one earlier. This calculator simply computes:

  • Remaining packs = 500 - estimated packs opened
  • Estimated chance by now = cumulative probability before pity (capped at 100% once 500+ is reached)

Tips for getting a more accurate result

  • Use your purchase history when possible.
  • Check season-by-season battle pass completion instead of guessing.
  • If you previously pulled heirloom shards, remember pity resets after that pull.
  • Use manual adjustment to correct your estimate up or down.

Common mistakes players make

Forgetting reset after an heirloom pull

The biggest mistake is counting all packs ever opened, even after already receiving shards. If you got shards from packs in the past, your pity counter starts over from zero at that point.

Mixing guaranteed event heirlooms with pack pity

Collection event heirlooms obtained by buying the full event set are separate from random pack pity tracking. Don’t combine those two paths.

Ignoring free packs from old events

Many players only count store packs and forget free event rewards. Over time, these can add up enough to meaningfully change your estimate.

Quick FAQ

Is this an official EA/Respawn tool?

No. This is an independent estimation tool for planning and tracking.

Does this guarantee the exact pack count?

No. It’s an estimate based on your input quality. The more accurate your data, the better the output.

What if my account is beyond level 500?

This version uses the classic 1-500 level model. If you need full prestige-era progression support, add the extra packs manually in the other fields.
