Parlay Bet Calculator
Enter your stake and each leg’s odds to calculate total payout, profit, combined odds, and implied probability.
Use American odds such as +150 or -110.
What is a parlay bet?
A parlay bet combines two or more selections (called legs) into one ticket. Every leg must win for the bet to cash. Because the risk is higher, the payout is also higher compared to placing each pick as a separate straight bet.
Parlays are common in sports betting across football, basketball, baseball, MMA, tennis, and more. This calculator helps you quickly estimate what your return would be before placing the wager.
How this parlay calculator works
1) Convert each leg into decimal odds
No matter which format you use (American, decimal, or fractional), each leg is converted into decimal odds behind the scenes.
- American +150 becomes 2.50
- American -110 becomes approximately 1.91
- Fractional 3/2 becomes 2.50
2) Multiply all legs together
The calculator multiplies the decimal odds for each leg to get the combined parlay multiplier.
3) Calculate payout and profit
Total payout = Stake × Combined Decimal Odds. Profit = Total payout − Stake.
Quick example
Let’s say your stake is $25 and your legs are +120, -110, and +200.
- +120 → 2.20
- -110 → 1.91
- +200 → 3.00
Combined decimal odds are roughly 12.60. Your estimated payout is $315.00, and your profit is about $290.00.
Why implied probability matters
Implied probability shows how likely the total parlay is to win based on the odds. As you add more legs, your potential payout climbs, but implied probability usually drops quickly.
That tradeoff is the core of parlay betting: higher reward, lower hit rate.
Tips for smarter parlay betting
- Keep leg count reasonable; more legs means much lower win probability.
- Compare odds across sportsbooks to improve your payout on every leg.
- Avoid betting more than you can afford to lose.
- Track your long-term results by stake, sport, and number of legs.
- Use a calculator before placing bets to avoid mental math mistakes.
Common questions
Can I use this for same-game parlays?
Yes. If you know the posted odds for each leg, you can input them and estimate returns. Just note that some sportsbooks adjust correlated selections in special ways.
Does this include sportsbook fees or taxes?
No. This tool gives the raw mathematical estimate from the listed odds and stake.
Can I mix odds formats?
This version uses one odds format at a time for all legs. If needed, convert externally and enter all legs in a single format.
Responsible betting note
Parlays are high-variance bets. Treat them as entertainment, set limits, and never chase losses. If betting is creating stress or financial harm, seek professional support resources in your area.
