What is pixel resolution?

Aspect ratio and why it matters

Aspect ratio is width divided by height (for example, 16:9 or 21:9). It affects how content fits the screen. If your media and display aspect ratios don’t match, you’ll typically see letterboxing, pillarboxing, or cropping.
